I’m excited to announce that I will be launching the EASTBOUND Podcast — on the Mixcloud platform — around December 20th, 2025! This is a new life for Rumbo al Este radio show, my previous project on Spanish state-owned radio, which -with three different names- ran for almost a decade.
EASTBOUND podcast will be devoted to music rarely heard in the mainstream media and platforms, and each episode will be available in both English and Spanish. My philosophy remains same as ever: the East is a state of mind, a beacon, a compass for discovery.
We follow music and stories across languages and cultures—from the Balkans and beyond, across the ages and wide around the globe—letting different kinds of music steer us through mysterious and enchanting landscapes.
Now presented in shorter, bilingual installments, EASTBOUND podcast entices you into exploring sounds, stories, and cultures that inspire, challenge, and captivate. Join me on this journey and let music lead the way… as we, once again, turn our hearts Eastward.
