Photo …continuing on my own felt completely natural, partly because at the radio I had already spent ten years—on and off—feeling profoundly alone in the middle of a crowd, even while pouring all my passion and dedication into the work. Honestly, the only reason I lasted that long was the response from listeners and musicians. But eventually I felt wrung dry, like a squeezed lemon. The grief that began then, in June 2022, became the longest of my life. In fact, it still hasn’t fully ended.

SPA:…me parecía tan natural seguir el trabajo por mi cuenta y riesgo porque en la radio ya me sentí radicalmente sola entre la multitud durante los 10 años en los que, con interrupciones, estuve desempeñando mi labor con pasión y entrega absolutas. De hecho, aguanté tanto tiempo únicamente por la respuesta de los oyentes y los músicos. Pero llegó un momento en que me sentí exprimida como un limón. El duelo que empezó entonces, en junio de 2022, fue el más largo de mi vida. De hecho todavía no se ha cerrado.
